Eclectic
Essentially, eclectic interiors are spaces that combine a variety of styles — traditional, global, modern, the sky’s the limit — mix together all the looks you like best. To rock an eclectic look in this living room, designer Sarah Stacey filled the sunny space with mismatched chairs, a vintage chest and a colorful Moroccan rug as eye-catching artwork. Mismatched modern lamps and a glass-and-chrome coffee table round out the anything-goes look. Each piece is unique but everything works together seamlessly.
Relaxed Modern
If "modern" and "cozy" design got together and had a baby (congrats!) you'd have relaxed modern. Modern spaces can sometimes feel cold and formal, but relaxed modern is warmer and much more accessible. This living room space uses a mix of modern and eclectic pieces to create a more casual, mod vibe. The clean lines of the white sofa, the vintage chair and classic marble table make the space feel much cozier than a typical, classically modern space.
California Cool
Where does that young, hip, up-and-coming Hollywood celeb you have a crush on (but would never admit it) live? Probably in a rad house in the Hollywood Hills, dripping with a California cool vibe.
